Yoji Muku (椋陽児) was a Japanese artist and editor, born in 1928, in Osaka. In 1963, he joined the editorial team of the erotic magazine Uramado, where he began creating S&M-themed comics at the age of 40.
His distinctive pencil drawings is often inspired by bondage photography.
Muku’s unsettling yet compelling approach to bondage art has earned him a cult status.
He passed away on July 30, 2001, leaving behind a legacy as one of Japan’s most unique voices in erotic illustration.
