Kitan Club (奇譚クラブ) was a Japanese SM magazine published from 1947 to 1975, known for its focus on bondage (shibari), fetishism, and sadomasochism (SM). It featured stories, illustrations, and essays exploring taboo desires,.
It helped popularize Seiu Ito, along with other extraordinary artists and writers such as Reiko Kita, Takashi Shima, and Oniroku Dan.

The August 1958 issue is especially rare—often seen as the holy grail for collectors. Its cover, featuring a surreal shark costume by French illustrator Hérouard, blends Japanese avant-garde with Western fantasy.
