Kasama Shiro (b. 1937), an erotic manga artist hailing from Fukuoka Prefecture, is renowned for his work as an SM illustrator. He began his career in 1958, debuting in Doyo Manga magazine.
In the early 1970s, Kasama Shiro formed a creative partnership with the legendary Oniroku Dan, contributing illustrations to SM magazines while also publishing erotic manga. During this period, he also adapted the iconic Flower and Snake.
Kasama’s distinctive style is celebrated for its portrayal of voluptuous women infused with a poignant sense of pathos, making his work both provocative and emotionally evocative.
